Not all hotels charge a resort fee but if yours does you WILL be obligated to pay it even if you don’t use (or want to use) the amenities, facilities, or services it includes.
Resort fees vary by hotel, are charged per night, and are normally not quoted in the room rate when you initially book your reservation.
